Photography.
"Having a $500+ camera is a fucking privilege. So for those of you out there who just rock it around your neck like it’s a fucking necklace, you’re doing it all wrong. Have respect for the damn thing, and get to know it. Learn how to use it. Read the manual and stop asking so many damn questions when you have all the right resources and skills to find the answers. Buying that $500+ camera doesn’t buy you the title “photographer.” Let me tell you now, there’s a huge difference between photographs and snapshots. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can take a snapshot with ease. But when it comes to a photograph, you have to keep aperture, shutter speed, and ISO level into consideration. If you love photography, then that DSLR camera is not a toy, it’s an art medium. Don’t be ignorant and take your camera for granted. There are so many people out there dying to have one. Use it. Practice. Don’t be afraid to take pictures of your surroundings. This world is ours, and as a photographers, it’s our obligation to record the events that occur in it. I love photography, and I cannot stress that enough. What I don’t love is how poorly a camera can be treated. Please respect this art form, that’s all I’m asking. Other than that, keep doing what you do, and start taking some photographs."
