First PC Build. Her name is Betty White.

So if you really know me, you'll already know I'm a hardcore techie / gamer. I couldn't keep my eyes off of a screen ever since I could remember.

As far as gaming goes I've been a console player since the original PlayStation release and I was maybe 5 or 6 years old? Who knows. My first taste of PC gaming came from my cousin David who introduced me to Counter-Strike 1.6 when I was about 10 years old or so. I was hooked from then on, everything I doodled in school was CS related, I maintained like a 4.0 K/D ratio just some chubby 10 year old slaying servers on my dad's old Gateway PC. I stopped playing any games throughout middle school and started playing again with the release of the PS3 playing games like Call of Duty MW2 alongside my friends in high school Kevin, Jordan, and Ralph. We kept that going with the PS4 and adding more of our friends to our roster playing titles like Destiny, Battlefield, Overwatch.

As far as computers went I never really had a stable desktop PC, just using what my parents had to edit photos, post blog posts, and stream music and videos really. I picked up a 2011 MacBook Pro 13" after graduating and thought it was the fastest most amazing computer ever. What made me really want to build a PC was the fact that my MacBook was no longer stable enough to do anything. I just binge watched youtube videos on how to build PCs, in-depth explanations on how to choose and compare PC components, benchmarks, etc. to a point where my entire recommended youtube videos were all from the likes of the PC building / gaming community. I scoured PCPartPicker.com daily looking up parts and making build lists and started purchasing parts very slowly and surely. In about 3 months or so I had all the parts and started building.

I centered my build on performance doing tasks like photo / video editing, gaming, recording, twitch live-streaming, and programming for school. Included down below before photos is an entire build list. I've sourced my parts from mainly Amazon (shout out Prime!) and picked up the current CPU and AIO cooler from eBay. I originally started my build with an Intel Pentium G4560 CPU, an AsRock B250m motherboard, and Cryorig H7 CPU air cooler which actually blew my mind. For $60 the G4560 handled every game I threw at it above 60fps paired with my single RX 480 4gb. I've since passed it onto my buddy Ralph to get his build strong and stable and upgraded to an older Skylake i5 6600k and MSI Z270 motherboard. As far as aesthetics go, I wanted to go with a monochrome theme with the NZXT s340 white case, Asus Dual series graphics card, crucial ram in white, MSI z270 SLI Plus motherboard with it's black and white lines and LEDs, and some cheap Chinese amazon RGB LED case fans.

Well here's where you can find me. Mainly playing Overwatch, PUBG, R6 Siege, CS:GO, GTAV, and Battlefield 1. Play with me!
